About the Artist:
Alexandra Squire is an abstract painter and artist based out of Bethesda, MD. Alexandra seamlessly blends vibrant colors with muted tones to create a unique and striking style. Her painting is fueled by a lifelong love and study of abstract works and the ability to break the rules of that study when the art calls for it. Abstract painting is a rich family tradition for Alexandra. It was passed down from her grandmothers and aunt and Alexandra has found her own voice in that tradition. Alexandra started painting as a teenager and throughout her 20's and 30's. She took a break from creating and returned to school to earn a master's degree and focused on raising her three daughters. However, a move back to the east coast and her desire to create again called her back to art. Alexandra’s art reflects the change and fragility of life and one’s choices. Her work is available by commission and can also be found online on Instagram @alexandrasquireart.

Acrylic paintings are particularly vulnerable to heat. Do
not hang or store your artwork where it may be in harm's way due to direct
sunlight. The same is true for avoiding areas prone to moisture and
humidity to avoid issues such as mold growth, which can be a problem with
acrylic paintings.
