Mother-and-daughter duo, Stacie and Lexi from The Tradition Begins, will treat you to a delicious selection of sweet treats as they guide you through an indulgent morning tea. Afterward, local florist Helen, from Helen’s Gardens, will lead a floral arranging workshop where you'll create a beautiful arrangement – perfect for yourself or that special mother figure in your life.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and in this workshop, we’ll blend words and pictures in an artistic fusion of printed page and watercolor! Several vintage books will be provided for page selections, but participants may bring a pre-selected page with special meaning if desired (thinner paper weight is best).

Our pages will be affixed to watercolor paper and we will enhance the written words with our custom watercolor designs. Beveled cream-colored mats will be provided (if you bring your own book page, keep in mind that the mat inside dimensions are 7.5 x 9.5). All materials are provided by the instructor.
